I had been considering SMP for a while and it took me a couple years to commit. I needed the whole top of my head done. I had two potential SMP artists, however chose Abbie based on a better feeling after our initial engagement. What can I say, I’m over the moon with the results. My head looks great and it looks like I have a full head of hair, while looking natural at the same time. No one realises my head has SMP unless I tell them which will usually shock them. The whole experience was awesome. Abbie is a wicked artist and is really personable which makes the procedure much more enjoyable. While I’d say the treatment isn’t painful, I’d say it’s not pleasurable, but the natural conversation Abbie generates makes you forget about the annoying needle sensation.

I've been where you are... doing my research about SMP. I wanted to get it done but I didn't want my scalp to look like a complete mess. I hesitated to get SMP for the longest time. I was very skeptical, because I've seen many people get it done where the hairline is too straight and doesn't look natural. However, Abbie is amazing and did it so flawlessly that it completely blends in with my hair (crown was previously 100% bald).

This is the best investment I've made - and I highly recommend Abbie because her previous skills as a makeup artist + SMP skills make her a notch above the rest (and trust me, I did a ton of research).

"Before starting my treatment, I found it challenging to find information specifically for women, on SMP from a Female Perspective. I took a painkiller beforehand, but I didn’t find the procedure too bad at all - maybe women are just used to handling a bit of discomfort!

The best part was that immediately after the procedure, my hair looked great. I felt confident enough to walk into a meeting or grab coffee without a second thought. Initially, I was worried about how I would look afterward - would my hair appear lanky? Would I need to wear a hat? But I looked my best right after the treatment! I was also concerned about not washing my medium long hair for several days. Thankfully, that turned out to be a non-issue. The SMP made my hair look fuller, and I used dry shampoo to keep things fresh.

A huge shoutout to Abbie, who made the entire experience wonderful. She is incredibly considerate and lovely. Abbie also helped me evaluate the hair products I was using, many of which were meant for hair loss but were drying out my scalp. My scalp and hair weren't in great shape, despite spending a lot on expensive products for hair loss. Now, I'm more conscious about caring for my scalp, scalp massage and using sulfate- and paraben-free products.
I’m happy to say that it did make a difference. The SMP covered my bald patches and made my hair look fuller, which was exactly what I wanted. I plan to have more sessions in the future, to delay more drastic and expensive measures."

I booked Abbie Beauty to have my upper eye lids tattooed as I was getting to a stage of 'not being bothered anymore' using eyeliner to draw these lines in. Everything was wow and amazing when I arrived. Her professional clean beautiful studio, her own professionalism. I've never had any kind of tattoo but because Abbie has done my make up many times and I always LOVED how she did my eyeliner I knew I could trust her to create a shape I really liked and would enjoy day after day.

I had no idea how it would feel but the numbing gels are so good that it only felt a little scratchy at the very end and Abbie was incredibly considerate and took great care to make sure I wasnt sore.
